Manchester Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony Set
Manchester's Memorial Day parade will be in Pine Lake Park. Kids are invited to decorate their bicycles with a patriotic theme and join in.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township officials are inviting the community to join in the annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony on Monday.
The parade will assemble at 9:15 a.m. at the corner of Southampton and Commonwealth boulevards and will march from there to the Grand Army Memorial on Oakdale Street at Wellington Avenue in Pine Lake Park.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at the memorial.

Memorial Day honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. It was originally known as Decoration Day and originated in the years following the Civil War, according to History.com. It became an official federal holiday in 1971.
