Manchester Middle School, Elementary School Orientations Set

MANCHESTER, NJ — Orientation is underway beginning Tuesday for middle school and elementary school students in the Manchester Township Schools.

Sixth-graders and their parents or guardians can attend sixth-grade orientation at Manchester Township Middle School Tuesday through Thursday.

Orientation was divided based on the students' last names:

Tuesday

• Session 1: 9 a.m.-10 a.m. for last names: A - Cz
• Session 2: 11 a.m.-noon for last names D - Go

Wednesday

• Session 1: 9 a.m.-10 a.m. for last names Gr - L
• Session 2: 11 a.m.-noon for last names M - Q

Thursday

• Session 1: 9 a.m.-10 a.m. for last names R - S
• Session 2: 11 a.m.-noon for last names T - Z

Orientation at the elementary schools is as follows. Parents will attend their own meeting to learn about school and classroom routines while students meet their teachers and classmates in their classrooms.

Ridgeway School

• New student orientation (first- through fifth-graders): 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26
• Kindergarten Orientation: Aug. 31, 10 a.m.
• Preschool Orientation: Aug. 30; AM students 9 a.m., PM Students 10:15 a.m.

Manchester Township Elementary School

• Kindergarten Orientation: Aug. 31, 10 a.m.
• New Student Orientation : Aug. 31, 1 p.m.

Whiting School

• New Student Orientation: Aug. 26, 1 p.m.
• Kindergarten Orientation: Aug. 31, 9:15-10:30 a.m.
• Preschool Orientation: Aug. 31, AM Students 9:45-10:30 a.m., PM Students 10:45-11:30 a.m.
• Multi-disabled and learning disabled: Aug. 31, 9:30-10:15 a.m.
