Manchester Planning Hydrant Flushing

MANCHESTER, NJ — Residents who live in the western service area of the Manchester Township Department of Utilities are being advised that the township will be flushing fire hydrants in November.

A notice from the utilities department said the flushing will take place at varying times from daytime to night time.

"During this time you will experience a difference in water pressure and a discoloration," the notice said. Run the cold water until it clears to resolve the discoloration, the notice said.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the notice said.
