Manchester Plans Luau At Lake, Corn Hole Tournament
The township is carefully planning for socially distanced events to add fun to the summer.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Are you looking for some fun summer activities? Manchester Township's Recreation Department has a pair of fun events in the works for August.
On Aug. 1, it's the second annual Corn Hole Tournament. The contest will be held beginning at 10 a.m. at Pine Lake, and is open to teams of adults age 18 or older. Register your team by July 10 online at manchestertwp.recdesk.com or call 732-657-8121, ext. 5102. The rain date is Aug. 2.
On Aug. 7, the township will host its fifth annual Luau at the Lake. The event will be held at Harry Wright Lake this year to ensure social distancing.

The luau, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will include Hawaiian entertainment, including Hawaiian dancers, a Hawaiian band and a fire knife performance. The rain date is Aug. 14.
