Manchester Police Charge Lindenwold Man In Shooting Incident

Multiple gun shots heard in Summit Park on Oct. 15, two cars struck.


Manchester police have arrested a Lindenwold man in connection with an Oct. 15 shooting incident where Summit Park residents reported hearing multiple gunshots and two cars were hit by bullets, Capt. Todd Malland said.

Todd D. Greene, 44, faces several weapons-related charges after officers discovered two firearms in the truck of his vehicle, which was at the scene of the shooting in the area of Nathan Avenue and Neal Place, he said.

Greene’s 2006 Mercedes Benz K50 was seized and officers obtained a warrant to search the vehicle. They found a .22 caliber Ruger and a .9mm Ruger in the trunk. The .22 caliber Ruger was reported stolen by the State of Georgia. It has not been determined if the weapons were used in the shooting, Malland said.

Greene was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to have weapons, possession of prohibited weapons and devices (hollow point bullets), and purchase of firearms without proper documentation. Additional charges are expected, he said.

Officers responded to Summit Park on Oct. 15 after several residents reported hearing multiple bursts of gun shots around 9 p.m., followed by an unknown vehicle fleeing the area. Police located multiple shell casings scattered about the street in the area. Police cordoned off the area for several hours while searching for the suspect(s) and additional shell casings/evidence. Two vehicles were parked in the area at the time were confirmed to have been struck by gunfire. It appears that no one was injured.
