Manchester Police Investigating Shots Fired In Summit Park

Shell casings were scattered about after the incident; police are seeking information and tips on the shooter or shooters.

Manchester Township police are asking the public for information after shots were fired in a township neighborhood on Thursday.

Manchester Lt. Vincent Manco said officers responded to multiple 911 calls about 9 p.m. Thursday reporting shots fired in the area of Nathan Avenue and Neal Place in the Summit Park section.

Residents told officers they heard multiple bursts of gunshots followed by the sound of an unknown vehicle fleeing the area, Manco said. The officers found multiple shell casings scattered about the street and cordoned off the area for several hours while they searched for the shooters and additional shell casings and evidence, Manco said.
