Manchester Police K9 Unit Needs Votes In Grant Competition
The K9 unit with the most votes will receive $5,000, the grant organization says.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Police Department is competing against other police departments around the country for the 6th Annual K9 Grant from Aftermath.
Aftermath is awarding a total of $25,000 in grants to five law enforcement offices to create or maintain a K9 unit, purchase safety equipment, or support officer training.
Votes for the K9 Grant will be accepted online; the five departments with the most votes after the close of voting at 11:59 p.m. Oct. 26 will be awarded the grants. The Aftermath K9 Grant was founded to showcase and reward the unique contributions made by K9s across the country.

Manchester Township police are hoping the community will support their effort by joining in the voting, which is being conducted online. You can vote once every 24 hours per device.
