Manchester Police PBA Takes To Soccer Field To Raise Funds For Brain Cancer Research
PBA members participating in 8v8 games Sunday against Buy Rite Liquors employees at Lakewood BlueClaws' complex

The Manchester Township Police Benevolent Association and Buy Rite Liquors are teaming up and facing off on the soccer field Sunday to raise money for brain cancer research.
The event, from noon to 6 p.m., takes place at the Lakewood BlueClaws’ complex at the corner of Cedar Bridge Road and New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood.
There will be 8v8 futsal games, a wine and beer tasting sponsored by Buy Rite Liquors of Toms River, facepainting and games for the kids and raffles. Raffle prizes include big-screen LCD TVs, mountain bicycles, and jerseys from the USA soccer teams.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12, under age 5 free.
Joey D’s Brick Oven Pizza and Restaurant also is sponsoring the event. Money raised will be donated to Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, and Community Medical Center, Toms River, for brain cancer research.
