MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man in connection with a theft at the ShopRite on Route 70.

The man was seen on video removing price tags on higher-quality steaks and then taking the price tags to the courtesy desk to get a refund on the merchandise, police said. It happened about 6:15 p.m. on March 14, police said.

Anyone who has information about the investigation or who can identify the man is asked to call Manchester Township Police Officer Jason Tarabokija at 732-657-2009, ext. 6420.

Information can be sent by private message on the department's various social media pages, or anonymous tips can be submitted through the Manchester Township Police Department's online tipline.

All tips are kept confidential, police said.
