Manchester PTA Thanks Teachers For Their Support
The PTA has 100 percent staff membership at four of the district's schools.

MANCHESTER, NJ — PTA is a time-honored tradition in schools throughout the country, where parents and cooperating teachers work together to provide extras that school budgets can no longer afford.
In some districts, school-defined PTAs of a dedicated few do yeoman's work. In Manchester, instead of individual PTAs at each of the schools, the PTA serves the entire district, and as such hosts a variety of programs that help each school in different ways. One of its biggest programs is its PTA classroom grants, which have provided iPads and books and a variety of items for classrooms throughout the district.
The PTA has a tradition of offering a sweet treat to the staff of any school that achieves 100 percent staff membership. In addition, there's a competition to be the first school to achieve 100 percent membership.
