Manchester Recreation Reschedules Luau At The Lake
When thunderstorms threatened on Friday, the township postponed the event for safety reasons.
MANCHESTER, NJ — If you're looking for something fun, the Manchester Township Recreation Department will be holds the town's Luau at the Lake on Friday.
The 5th Annual Luau at the Lake had been set for Aug. 7, but thunderstorms and a threatening forecast prompted township officials to postpone it.
It will be held at Harry Wright Lake. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.

Due to the coronavirus, the dance floor will be used for additional seating in order to maintain 6-foot social distancing. For the safety of all in attendance, masks must be worn when using the restrooms or visiting vendors, until you are seated in one of the social distancing circles, and when 6-foot social distancing cannot be maintained.
There will be performances by Hawaiian dancers, a Hawaiian band, and a fire knife performance.
