Manchester Relay For Life Slated For This Weekend

Event will be held at Manchester Township High School Athletic Field

The Relay for Life of Manchester kicks off this weekend at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Manchester Township High School Athletic Field on South Colonial Drive. 

Relay For Life is a celebration of survivorship – an occasion to express hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens the lives of so many people we love. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Event Schedule:

There will be a survivors' dinner at 5 p.m. in the Manchester Township High School cafeteria that is not open to the public.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Survivor/Caregiver lap and a team banner lap.

The rest of the schedule of events includes:

4 p.m.  Tent Set-Up/Work on Team Banner

5 p.m. Survivor's Dinner (Cafeteria)

6:30 p.m. Opening Ceremony (followed by Survivor/Caregiver Lap, Team Banner Lap)

7:15 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Rock out with local bands - Live Music, Bacon Jam, and Half Daze!

7:15 p.m. Simon Says with Team Oriental Express and BINGO with Diane Z.

8:30 p.m  Rita's Ice Olympics

9 p.m. - 11 p.m  Games 2U Video Game Theater

10 p.m. Luminaria Ceremony

11:15 p.m. Fight Back Ceremony, Lip Dub Run Through, and Mr./Ms. Relay Pageant Contestants Formed

12 a.m. Midnight Madness, Mr./Ms. Relay Contestants Introduced, Lip Dub - Best Days of My Life

1 a.m Zumba, Mr./Ms. Relay Winners Announced, Water Balloon Mayhem

2 a.m.DJ D-Mac Dance Party

3 a.m. Pancake Breakfast, Pancake Eating Contest, BINGO

4 a.m. Yoga

4:45 a.m. Team Unity Lap

5 a.m.  Closing Ceremony/Awards
