Manchester Residents Urged To Lock Homes, Cars, Amid Burglaries

Police said there has been an increase in burglaries involving unlocked doors and windows, especially in Pine Lake Park.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are reminding residents again to lock up their vehicles and homes in the wake of an increase in burglaries.

Police said the Pine Lake Park section in particular has been targeted.

In a Ring video they shared on the police department's Facebook page, they asked for the public's help in identifying a suspect who was seen trying to get into some vehicles in Pine Lake Park. (You can watch the video below.)

"Fortunately, the suspect left empty handed because the owner had their vehicles locked and secured! Please watch the video and let us know if you can identify this suspect, which may help us out in other investigations!" police said.
