Manchester School Board Announces Time Change, Separate Budget Hearing

MANCHESTER, NJ -- (Updated, 10:45 a.m. Tuesday) The Manchester Township Board of Education has made two meeting announcements that affect the public.
First, this month's regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, set for Wednesday, April 20, in the media center at Ridgeway Elementary School, is expected to begin earlier. An executive session is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the public portion of the meeting beginning at 7 p.m., according to district public information officer Lee Bruzaitis, who clarified an earlier announcement on the district website.
Second, the board has scheduled a special meeting for Wednesday, May 4, at which time there will be a public hearing on the 2016-17 budget. That meeting is scheduled for Ridgeway Elementary School. Bruzaitis said the start time for the meeting will likely be set at the April 20 meeting.
