Manchester School Bus Involved In Crash, No Students On Board

Parents were notified directly that no students were involved in the crash, Manchester school district officials said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester Township school bus was involved in a crash Tuesday morning on Commonwealth Boulevard, school district officials confirmed.

There were no students on board at the time of the crash, which happened a little before 8:30 a.m., the district said.

"Per our immediate outreach to families via Blackboard Connect and our official school district social media platforms this morning, there were no students on board the school bus," a district spokesperson said.

A video clip published by the Lakewood Scoop showed damage to the front of the bus, which was partially on the front lawn of a home on Commonwealth Boulevard.

Additional information has been requested from the Manchester Township Police Department.
