Manchester Schools Hope To Offer Free Preschool To District Families
The district has applied for New Jersey's Preschool Expansion program and needs to know how many children might be seeking to enroll.
MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township School District is trying to find out how many children might seek to enroll in preschool when the district offers it starting this fall.
The district is applying for the state Department of Education's state-funded universal preschool program.
If selected, all Manchester Township families with 3- and 4-year-olds would be eligible for the free program, which is anticipated to begin Oct. 3.
