Manchester Schools Hosting Workshop For Parents Of Special Needs Students
The workshop will have information for families of children just entering school and those preparing to transition out of school.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township School District will be holding a workshop for families of children with special needs on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the district's Regional Day School.
The program begins at 6 p.m. at the school located at 890 Toms River Road, Jackson.
In attendance and making presentations will be representatives with the state's Division of Children & Families/Perform Care and the Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Peter Mancusi, assistant director of Children's System of Care, will speak at 6 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Nkechi Ugoji, senior coordinator of transition policy for the state Division of Developmental Disabilities will speak.
The information presented is for parents and guardians of special needs children from ages 5 through 21 and for staff who support special needs students. Professional development certificates will be available for staff who attend.
