Manchester Shifts Council Meeting To Virtual

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Council meeting scheduled for Monday will be held electronically only, township officials announced Thursday.

The meeting, set for 6 p.m., will be held via Zoom, the township said in a public notice.

Residents who want to participate and ask questions will be able to call in to the meeting; the Zoom link will be for viewing only, the notice said.

The move to the electronic meeting comes as New Jersey has seen a significant increase in COVID-19 cases in the last several days.

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP – PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and in consideration of Executive Order No. 103, issued by Governor Murphy on March 9, 2020, declaring a State of Emergency in the State of New Jersey, the Township of Manchester does hereby notify the public that to protect the health, safety and welfare of our citizens while ensuring the continued functioning of government, there will be a meeting of the Council of the Township of Manchester scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on December 20, 2021 at 1 Colonial Drive, Manchester, New Jersey will be held electronically only.

This meeting will be split into 3 sessions: opening session, executive session, and closing session. Below you will find the information needed to access the opening and closing sessions.
