Thirty-five students from Manchester Township High School attended an Engineering Career Day hosted by the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Newark College of Engineering, on the NJIT campus.

The program is designed to give high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to explore options in six diverse engineering fields: biomedical engineering; chemical, biological and pharmaceutical engineering; civil and environmental engineering; electrical and computer engineering; mechanical and industrial engineering; and engineering technology, on the the same day. Students were escorted throughout the campus, and were able to meet with currently enrolled engineering students (including some Manchester alumni) and faculty.
