Manchester Teacher Honored As 'Teacher Who Rocks'

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester teacher Jessica Parsons has been honored by a local radio station as a 2023 Teacher Who Rocks.

Parsons, who teaches in a combined kindergarten-first grade self-contained special education classroom at Ridgeway Elementary School, was named one of the winners of the Teachers Who Rock contest hosted by WJRZ-FM and WRAT-FM.

Parsons is a graduate of the Manchester Township schools and has been teaching at Ridgeway Elementary School for 12 years.

"She takes the students who have the most difficulty with learning and puts in the extra time and effort to make sure that they have a positive learning experience," the contest entry on the radio stations' website said.
