Manchester Township Council Reorganizes, Sets 2024 Meeting Dates

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Council held its reorganization meeting on Tuesday, choosing the council president and vice president and setting meeting dates for 2024.

Craig Wallis, who ran unopposed for the council seat that had belonged to Samuel Fusaro, was sworn in to a full term. Wallis, who was first elected in 2004, was named to fill Fusaro's unexpired term when Fusaro resigned in February 2023 when he moved out of town.

Roxanne Conniff was voted to continue as council president, and James Vaccaro as council vice president for 2024 during the meeting at the courtroom in the Manchester Township municipal building. Michele Zolezi and Joseph Hankins round out the council members.

Manchester Township Mayor Rob Arace promised to continue the work town officials began in 2023. He is scheduled to deliver the State of the Township address at the Jan. 22 council meeting.

The council set the following meeting dates for 2024. All of the meetings are at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays except where noted:
