Manchester Utilities Announces Hydrant Flushing For Spring
Residents will be notified when hydrants will be flushed in their areas of town, officials said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Utilities Department will do its spring flushing of fire hydrants in April and May, utilities officials announced.
Residents in each community will be notified when flushing begins in their area, utilities officials said.
The hours of the flushing will vary and could take place during the day or at night, officials said.

During the flushing, residents will experience a difference in water pressure and discoloration of the water, officials said. Run the cold-water tap only until it runs clear if it is discolored.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," she said.
