Manchester Woman Hurt As ATV Flips: Police

Breaking: The woman was thrown from her ATV in the accident, police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester woman was injured Friday night when she was thrown from ATV on a dirt road, police said Saturday.

Constance Robinson, 28, of Manchester, was listed in stable condition as of Saturday morning at Community Medical Center, Toms River, where she was taken with face, neck and back injuries, Manchester Capt. Todd Malland said.

Robinson was driving a red 2003 Honda TRX300 Sportrax all-terrain vehicle west on Clay Mine Road in the Pasadena section of Manchester when the accident happened about 10:20 p.m. Malland said.

The investigation revealed Robinson was driving the ATV on the dirt road when she lost control of the vehicle, drove off the road, and hit a raised dirt berm, causing the ATV to overturn, throwing Robinson off the ATV, he said.

Robinson was wearing a DOT-approved helmet at the time of the accident, Malland said.

Assisting at the scene were members of the New Jersey State Park Police; the New Jersey State Police; paramedics from MONOC and EMTs from Quality Medical Transport, Malland said. Patrolman Ian Bole is investigating.
