Manchester's 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off Needs Your Chili
You have until Oct. 30 to make your bid for the best chili in town.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Do you make chili so hot it will burn the paint off a car? Is your chili so flavorful that people come back for thirds?
Then you need to enter the third annual Chili Cook-Off sponsored by the Manchester Township Recreation Department.
There prizes and trophies for the top three chili recipes, which will be decided at the Chili Cook Off and bonfire 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 at the football complex on Route 571.

In addition to prizes for the top three recipes, there will be prizes for Best Table Presentation and the Nice Try Award. It's free to enter and free to sample.
There will be music by DJ Cass as well.

"Sit by the fire and relax with your neighbors. It's going to be a great family fun evening," Recreation Department officials said in an announcement about the contest.
You must be registered by Monday, Oct. 30 to compete in the chili cook-off. Registration forms can be obtained from the Recreation Department at Manchester town hall, 1 Colonial Dr. Call 732-657-8121 ext. 5101 or 5102 for more information.
The raindate is Nov. 4.
