MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police say a missing 16-year-old girl from the township has been found safe.

Samantha Mendez, who went missing Friday evening was found safe by Manchester patrol officers, police said.

"Samantha has been located safe and sound by our Patrol Division. Thank you everyone for sharing," police said in an update about 10:10 p.m.
