Missing Manchester Woman Found Alive In Pittsburgh

Amanda Picard, 24, is now living in the western Pennsylvania city and wasn't aware she had been reported missing, Manchester police say.

MANCHESTER, NJ -- The last time anyone saw or heard from 24-year-old Amanda Picard was back on Feb. 5, when her parents dropped her off at her grandparents' home in Holiday City in Berkeley Township.

Picard did not have an active driver's license and does not own a car. She left her grandparents' home without her cell phone, Manchester police said.

But early Sunday morning, Manchester police were notified by the Pittsburgh Police Department of Conservation of Natural Resources that Picard had been found "safe, sound and in good health," police said.

"She was unaware she had been reported as a missing person," police said. "The Manchester Township Police want to thank everyone who brought attention to this case, including all those who 'shared' our missing person Facebook posts, and the numerous media outlets who helped to distribute the information."
