Need Directions to Gov. Chris Christie's Manchester Town Hall?

The governor will speak with residents at 3 p.m.

Gov. Chris Christie's office has clarified directions to his town hall meeting location set for Thursday afternoon in Manchester.

The governor's office on Wednesday afternoon revised the name of the meeting site from the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Consolidated Logistics Training Facility to the New Jersey Maneuverable Assets Training Equipment Site.

The address, however, remains the same — 1 Pinehurst Road, Route 539. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the meeting is expected to begin at 3 p.m.

The governor's office said that the facility is located on Route 539, about 4 miles north of the county highway's intersection with Route 70. It is also about 4 miles south of the intersection of Route 539 and Long Swamp Road.

Road signs will be posted to help attendees find parking, according to the governor's office.

Christie, who has been touting what he calls "the New Jersey comeback," was set to visit Fernwood Hall in Crestwood Village 7 on March 14, but that event was canceled.

The meeting is open to the public and seating is on a first come, first serve basis, according to the event invitation. Seats can be reserved by completing an online form.

If you cannot attend the meeting, Manchester Patch will have full coverage later in the day.
