Nor'easter Pushes Manchester Relay For Life Indoors

Breaking: The annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society begins at noon Saturday.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Saturday's nor'easter with its heavy rain has pushed Manchester Township's Relay for Life event indoors, organizers said.

The event begins at noon and will be held inside Manchester Township High School, 101 South Colonial Drive.

If you have not registered, you can do so in person at the event, and donations can still be made online whether you are able to participate or not, organizers said.

"We are still going to have the same incredible, inspiring event as we fight back toward a world without cancer! We will be celebrating our cancer survivors, remembering those lost and fighting back as the community of Manchester!" they said in a post on Facebook.

There is a full day of activities planned; see the schedule below.
