Ocean Gate Man Faces Drug Charges In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NJ -- An Ocean Gate man is being held at the Ocean County Jail in lieu of bail after he was arrested recently on drug possession charges in Manchester, police said.

Shannon R. Bane, 30, of Ocean Gate, was arrested March 21 by Patrolman Christian Nazario on Northhampton Boulevard. Giana L. Selvanto, 24, of Toms River, was arrested at the same time on drug possession charges and released with a summons to appear in court.

Bane, however, was wanted by the Ocean County Sheriff's Department and was turned over to them. He is being held without bail on charges of resisting arrest and theft by unlawful taking, according to Ocean County Jail records.
