Parent Workshop on Learning Differences and Multiple Intelligences

Regional Day School is offering a free workshop entitled Understanding Learning Differences Using Multiple Intelligences to Help Students Succeed on October 24. Each child has unique gifts and strengths that many not be identified through traditional assessments. Learn how to identify each child’s unique “multiple intelligences” and gain strategies designed to help bring out the best in each child.

The workshop will be presented by Monique Dujue Wilson of the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network. SPAN is the state’s leading parent advocacy agency whose mission is to empower families and inform and involve professionals and other individuals interested in the healthy development and educational rights of children.

Regional Day School is a public school specializing in the education of children with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
