Parents Of Special Needs Students Invited To Manchester Meeting
The program will discuss planning the future of special needs' students education, life beyond school.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Parents of students with special needs are invited to an information program aimed to help parents think about navigating their child's future.
The program, set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the district's Regional Day School, is hosted by the Manchester Township School District Transition Program.
It will include representatives of the state's Division of Children & Families and the Division of Developmental Disabilities.

The information presented is important for parents of special needs children of all types of disabilities from ages 5 through 21 and for staff who support special needs students, the district says.
"The information shared this evening is an investment in your child's future!" the district said.

Peter Mancusi, assistant director of Children's System of Care is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. and Nkechi Ugoji, MSW, LSW, the senior coordinator of transition policy for the Division of Developmental Disabilities is set to speak at 7 p.m.
