Police: Manchester Woman, Lakehurst Man Had 32 Bags Of Heroin

The pair were arrested after a traffic stop, police said.

A Lakehurst man and a Manchester woman have been charged with heroin possession, after they were found to have 32 bags of heroin during a traffic stop last week, police said.

Kenneth Kunz, 27, of Lakehurst, and Jennifer Bopp, 28, of Manchester, were in a 2006 Nissan Sentra that was pulled over Tuesday, May 12, as a result of an investigation into the distribution of heroin by members of the Lakehurst and the Manchester Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Team, Lakehurst Chief Eric S. Higgins said.

Subsequent to the traffic stop, officers on scene recovered 32 bags of heroin from Kunz and Bopp, Higgins said. They were placed under arrest and taken to the Lakehurst Police Department for processing.

Both Bopp and Kunz were charged by Officer Ryan Cahill with the possession of Heroin and released on a summons, he said.
