Police Welcome Community To National Night Out In Manchester, Lakehurst

MANCHESTER and LAKEHURST, NJ —

Manchester and Lakehurst police are inviting residents to their annual joint National Night Out celebration on Wednesday.

The event is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fuccile Sports Complex, 800 Myrtle St., Lakehurst.

The event is an opportunity for residents to interact with the police officers and other first responders who serve their community "and strengthen the partnerships that help keep our communities safe," the police departments said.

The free event features a landing by a New Jersey State Police helicopter, a K-9 demonstration, an e-bike safety presentation, a live magic show by Magic Zig Mike, bounce houses, a petting zoo by Barnyard Petz, hatchet throwing with
Down the Hatchet, prizes and giveaways and much more. See the schedule below.

There will be food vendors, including Wholly Bowls, Fit Chicks, Mister Softee, and Dead Good Lemonade.

The departments said the event sponsors include Wawa, Express Inn, Travel Inn, Stop & Shop, BJ’s Wholesale Club, VFW, Lillian Blackmire, Toast, and many other organizations.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Department and NSA Lakehurst are providing support, the police departments said.
