Pounds Of Fentanyl, Heroin, And Cocaine Net Manchester Man Federal Prison Sentence

Detectives seized $150,000 in cash, along with pounds of drugs when Dyshawn Moss was arrested in 2019, federal authorities said.

TRENTON, NJ — A Manchester Township man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after he was convicted on charges including fentanyl, heroin and cocaine distribution, and weapons possession by a felon, the U.S. Attorney's office announced.

Dyshawn Moss, 42, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Michael A. Shipp to the federal prison sentence for his Oct. 27, 2022, conviction charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, the announcement from U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Moss was arrested May 24, 2019, outside his apartment building in Manchester, officials said.

In his apartment, authorities seized more than 1,000 grams (more than 35 ounces) of fentanyl; more than 1,300 grams (nearly 46 ounces) of heroin, and more than 2,600 grams (more than 5.7 pounds) of cocaine, authorities said.

Moss also had more than $150,000 in cash; drug-packaging materials; and a 9mm Taurus handgun loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition, authorities said

In addition to the prison term, Judge Shipp sentenced Moss to 10 years of supervised release.
