POW-MIAs Honored At Manchester Recognition Ceremony

Manchester dedicated a Chair of Honor and park in honor of POW-MIA Recognition Day.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township dedicated a park to honor prisoners of war and those missing in action in a ceremony on POW-MIA Recognition Day.

The ceremony at Manchester POW-MIA Park on Friday included the dedication of a Chair of Honor, which commemorates American service men and women who are prisoners of war or missing in action.

Council President Joan Brush and Councilwoman Michelle Zolezi joined with Rolling Thunder Chapter 4 members for the chair dedication.

Also in attendance were Arthur and Stan from the Mayor’s Veterans Committee, the Manchester Police Color Guard and Marine Sgt. Anthony Rodriguez from Rep. Chris Smith’s office.
