Power In The Pines Air Show Returns To McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst
The Joint Base last hosted an air show in May 2016; the 2018 show will include both aerial and ground displays.

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NJ — If you love watching military jet pilots perform their stunts, or touring some of the equipment the military uses to protect the nation, you need to mark your calendar, because the Power in the Pines is returning.
Joint Base officials said the show is set for May 5 and May 6, 2018.
Full details have not been released, but in a post on Facebook, the base said the show is anticipated to feature the ACC F-22 Raptor Demo Team, Canadian Forces CF18 Demo Team, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

The last time the open house and air show was held was in 2016.
In addition to the aerial performances, there will be static ground displays of military air and ground equipment and a variety of entertainment. The 2016 show included performances by the 78th Army Band.

"It's truly going to be a weekend to remember!" the post noted.
