Rascals Who Dumped 15 Rabbits At Manchester Park Sought
Two men in their early 20s were seen dumping the bunnies. If you know the varmints who did it, police would like to hear from you.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Even Bugs Bunny has been treated better than this.
Manchester Township police are hoping someone can help identify two men who dumped about two dozen domestic rabbits in the woods at Harry Wright Lake on Sunday, Oct. 28.
Police said the bounty of bunnies was delivered to the area of Newark Avenue and Nature Drive about 1:45 p.m. by what were described as two while males ages 19 to 22. They had dark hair and one was wearing a baseball hat.

The two arrived in separate vehicles. One was described as a newer small sedan that was bright blue or electric blue with taillights going across the back of the car, which may have been a Dodge Dart, police said.
The second car was a a newer small sedan in dark green or gray that may have been a Subaru, p0lice said.

The two men were seen carrying a black container with a yellow lid into the woods and then dumping the container, which contained approximately 15 bunnies, then they walked back to their cars and drove away.
Police said 11 of the bunnies were caught but some of them could not be found.
