Route 70 Closed In Manchester As Crash Brings Down Pole
The broken utility pole knocked out power to more than 2,300 homes and businesses late Sunday night.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A motor vehicle crash that brought down a utility pole closed Route 70 to traffic late Sunday night, police said.
The road was closed from Colonial Drive to the Lakehurst circle, Manchester police said in a Nixle alert just before 11 p.m. There was no estimate of when it would reopen.
The broken utility pole also knocked out power in the area. There were more than 2,300 homes and businesses without electric service, according to the First Energy outage map.
