Special Meeting Set For Manchester Council Candidate Interviews
The council has to fill the seat left vacant by the recent resignation of Samuel Fusaro.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Council has scheduled a special meeting for Feb. 2 to interview candidates for the council seat recently vacated by Samuel Fusaro.
Fusaro resigned as of Jan. 15 because he moved out of Manchester. There are two years left on his term; whoever the council appoints will serve until Dec. 31, 2023 and will have to run for election in November for the final year of the term.
The meeting is set for 3 p.m. in the court room at the municipal building, 1 Colonial Drive, and interviews for the council candidates will be held in executive session, according to the meeting notice.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, that the Manchester Township Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Court Room, 1 Colonial Dr., Manchester, NJ 08759. The Agenda topic for this Special Meeting is Executive Session to hold interviews for a potential Council member. Formal action may be taken.
