Storm Prompts Manchester Council Meeting Change

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Council is moving the council meeting on Monday to a virtual meeting because of the impending storm and the state of emergency announced as a result, the township announced.

The meeting, which is set for 6 p.m., will be held via Zoom, the notice said.

NOTICE OF MEETING FORMAT CHANGE FROM IN-PERSON TO VIRTUAL DUE TO STATE OF EMERGENCY

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 5:39-1 and in consideration of Executive Order No. 8, issued by Governor Sherrill on January 23, 2026, declaring a State of Emergency in the State of New Jersey effective 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, the Township of Manchester does hereby notify the public that to protect the health, safety and welfare of our citizens while ensuring the continued functioning of government, there will be a meeting of the Council of the Township of Manchester scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on January 26, 2026 at 1 Colonial Drive, Manchester, New Jersey will be held electronically only.
