Take A Look: Manchester Police Release New Photo Of Bank Robber
Police are still seeking information leading to the arrest of the person who robbed the Santander in Whiting in November
In an ongoing attempt to identify and prosecute the person responsible, the Manchester Township police department released new photos and information in connection with the November robbery of the Santander Bank branch in Whiting.
Capt. Lisa Parker said police responded to the Santander branch at 409 Route 530 about 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, for a report of a robbery.
The investigation revealed a male subject walked into the bank and presented the teller with a note demanding cash, Parker said. The suspect also spoke to the teller, in a voice the teller identified as male, Parker said.

The robber did not show a weapon, and after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, ran out of the bank.
One of the new photos is from an automated teller machine at the branch, taken about 4:50 p.m. the day before the robbery. It is believed to show the suspect.

The other photos show the suspect on the day of the robbery, and were released previously, Parker said.

Anonymous tips can be placed on the Manchester Police website by clicking on the “Tip Line” link. The case is under investigation by the Manchester Police Investigations Bureau. Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigations Unit and K-9 Unit assisted with the investigation.
