Theft Charges, DWI Arrests, Endangerment: Manchester Police Blotter

MANCHESTER, NJ — Three people were arrested on theft charges, and three others charged with driving while intoxicated over a three-week stretch in Manchester, according to arrest reports released by the police department.

Manchester police also made a number of drug arrests, as well as collaring people who had outstanding and active arrest warrants.

The arrestees, their age and hometown, the charge and arresting officer, as well as whether they were held or released is as follows:

Amanda S. Hinkson, 44, of Seaside Heights, on theft and a $600 warrant, by Patrolman G. Reilly; taken to Ocean County Jail but later released

Martin F. McLernon, 52, of Manchester, on a warrant, by Patrolman V. DeRome; turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff's Department. McLernon is charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent person and is being held in the Ocean County Jail.
