Two men and a woman from Lacey Township are facing drug charges after police found 168 bags of heroin in their car during a traffic stop in Manchester, police said.

Ryan Tomson, 32, of Beverly Drive; Allison Wujack, 31, of Sunrise Boulevard, and Michael Giresi, 33, of Sunrise Boulevard, all of the Forked River section of Lacey, were arrested Wednesday evening by members of the Manchester Township Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team, Capt. The arrests occurred after the 2004 Hyundai Sonata driven by Tomson was pulled over on Route 571 about 8:30 p.m. near Toms River because it had an inoperable tail lamp, he said.

During the course of the stop, Tomson exhibited signs of heroin use, Malland said. While officers were conducting the investigation, Wujack, who was sitting in the back seat, was observed attempting to conceal an item under the seat, he said. The item was immediately seized, Malland said, at which time a quantity of heroin was recovered.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and more heroin as well as associated paraphernalia was recovered, he said, with a total of 168 plastic bags containing heroin seized.
