Township Sets Manchester Day Celebration

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township is celebrating its Annual Manchester Day and Independence Day event on Saturday, June 24.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Harry Wright Lake, 1501 Lake Road, and run all day, concluding with fireworks at dusk, the Manchester Recreation Department said on a post on Facebook. The rain date is Sunday, June 25.

The celebration includes a full schedule of events, rides for both children and adults, food and snacks from food vendors. There will be numerous arts and crafts vendors within the park, and free swimming all day.

Games and contests such as a limbo contest, hula hoop contest, scavenger hunt and much more will be played throughout the day and there will be free raffles going off throughout the celebration.

DJ Cass will be providing musical entertainment throughout the day including the Pinelands Symphonic Band, and in the evening there will be live entertainment provided by Rubix Kube. Radio talent for the celebration and concert series will be provided by WJRZ.
