Dump Truck's Oil Spill Clogs Route 37 For Two Hours
Manchester police report the area reopened for normal travel about 11:30 a.m.

A dump truck that became disabled and spilled oil on the road caused traffic tie-ups Thursday morning on Route 37 in Manchester.
A Nixle alert from the township police department about 9:30 a.m. urged motorists to avoid the area of Route 37 east at Commonwealth Boulevard. The oil spill was substantial, according to police notifications. The dump truck was towed from the scene by Accurate Tow Company, and the road was reopened to normal travel by 11:30 a.m.

PREVIOUSLY: A Nixle alert at 9:30 a.m. issued by Manchester Township police asked drivers to avoid Route 37 east in the area of Commonwealth Boulevard until further notice.
A dump truck that has become disabled spilled oil and crews are on scene trying to clean it up, the Nixle alert said. Police are asking motorist to avoid the area until the cleanup is complete.
