Training At Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Rattling Homes
Training at the joint base is expected to produce "abundant noise," according to base officials.

JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NJ — If your home is getting rattled by loud booms on Sunday evening, it's likely because of training exercises at the joint base.
Base officials have been publishing a monthly calendar on Facebook showing what is anticipated as noise levels for training, and for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday the noise level is listed as "abundant."
A loud boom that rattled homes and windows more than 20 miles away just before 6 p.m. prompted an alert from the Ocean County sheriff's office noting that training was being conducted.
