Training On Tap At Joint Base This Week
Mortar training is part of the plans, officials said.
JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NJ — If you start hearing rumbles the next several days, it's more than likely coming from the base.
Officials at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst said there will be activity on the ranges from Wednesday, Jan. 9 through Monday, Jan. 14.
The training will be primarily small arms firing but there will be mortar training as well.

"Keep in mind that low cloud cover may amplify the sound," officials said.
