Vandalism Continues at LMSA Soccer Fields

Damage is ongoing at Township Soccer fields

It's been about 2 months since the first article detailing vandalism incidents at the LMSA Soccer Fields.  During this time the Manchester Township Police Department has been called out multiple times to investigate continued vandalism.

During the last 2 months reported incidents include continued vehicles driving on and damaging fields aattempted break in's to the facility restrooms and snack stand.  The Association's bleachers and building have also been spray painted.  In another incident, 2 youths were seen entering the snack stand and taking cases of candy.  Unfortunately witnesses to the incident were unable to catch them as they fled on bicycles.

In this week's latest reported event the facility equipment room was successfully broken into by destroying the locked door handle.  Once inside, the vandals stole hand held spray paint guns and cans of spray paint the association uses to line the fields.  Spray paint markings were found across the soccer fields, onto the Summit Park Basketball courts and onto the streets of Summit Park.  Some of the marking at the soccer fields included sexually explicit images on the fields where the associations youngest members practice.
