Weather Warning Disrupts Manchester Graduations

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for much of New Jersey until this evening.

Family and friends planning to attend graduation ceremonies for Manchester Township’s eighth-graders and high school seniors will find conditions a bit close for comfort, but at least everyone should stay dry.

Citing the threat of severe thunderstorms predicted by the National Weather Service, Manchester Superintendent David Trethaway said both events have been moved into the high school gymnasium.

The middle school graduation is set for 3:30 p.m., with the high school graduation following at 6:30 p.m.
