It is the 50th week of the year. As holiday celebrations gear up, here’s a few events you may be interested in:

This evening, Monday, the Manchester Township Council meets at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Building.

On Tuesday, Hannukah begins at sundown.

On Wednesday, the Manchester Township Board of Education meets in the media center at Ridgeway Elementary School. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, the Manchester branch of the Ocean County Library will be hosting the “Blue to You Van” from Horizon Healthcare of NJ as part of the library’s Chapters of Health program series. Everyone is welcome to come in to learn about healthy living strategies and local wellness activities, attend seminars, access health care reform information, and more. Members can speak with an advisor in person about recent claims, billings or other issues. No registration necessary. The van will be at the library from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
